KOH SATIN, Kampong Cham (Cambodia Herald) – A second-year student from the National Polytechnic Institute has died after setting himself on fire, police said Tuesday.
Koh Sotin district police officer Ma Chenda said the incident occurred 15 meters behind the victim's house in Lvea commune around midnight on Monday.
The victim, said to be suffering from a mental illness, was identified as 22-year-old Kong Seang Leng. Relatives said he saluted and bowed to villagers a day before the suicide.

His suicide was from the corrupted CPP regime and suffered from the oppression of CPP Yuon officials over Khmer freedoms of expression.
