PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) – China's CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co
Ltd on Friday won a bid for a terminal construction project in
Sihanoukville with a contract value of $73.7 million, Dredging Today
reported.
The report said the Tianjin-based company's second project in Sihanoukville included building two 20,000-tonne bulk cargo berths and a plate beam bridge approach with a length of 1,884 meters. The wharf for the berths will be a high-piled beam-slab structure with a length of 427 meters, it said.
Dredging volume is estimated at around 2.8 million cubic meters, the report said, adding that the project was scheduled to be completed by the end of October next year.
