SIEM REAP (Cambodia Herald) – About 35,000 'red shirt' supporters of Thaksin Shinawatra are expected to welcome the former Thai prime minister in Siem Reap over the New Year, a senior official said.
The official said accommodation had already been arranged and that some red shirt leaders had already arrived in Siem Reap.
Thai newspapers quoted ruling Pheu Thai Party sources as saying that about 10,000 red shirt supporters would reach Siem Reap by Friday to welcome Thaksin on Sunday. Red shirt leaders said earlier that supporters from Buriram, Surin and Yasothon provinces would come to Siem Reap on Saturday.

Our ancestors called that city "Siam reap"for a reason...our ancestors did it back then we still can do it again!....don't you Worry,Next time we call it Siam crapp or Siam loon..
Come on people! They are comming to see thier leader. They are not trying to take over the country. I wouldn't worry a thing.
