Published: 21-Mar-12PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) – General Keath Chantharith said Wednesday that Cambodia would deploy about 10,000 police, military and health officers for next month's ASEAN Summit.
"We have already trained the police officers and have also checked escort vehicles, patrol motorcycles and other equipment," he told a ceremony at Koh Pich.
The general appealed to all Cambodians to report anything suspicious to police given that Cambodia's hosting of the April 3-4 summit will reflect upon the whole country.
