AKP Phnom Penh, March 2, 2012 –Australia will provide more scholarships to Cambodian students for 2012, Australia’s Ambassador to Cambodia, Ms. Penny Richard announced here on Feb. 29.
Speaking at the Australia Awards-Development Awards 2012 Selection Round Ceremony, the Australian diplomat said Australia will provide scholarships for 50 Cambodian higher education students under the Australian Development Scholarships (ADS) program.
“Since 1994, Australia has offered scholarships to some 480 students in the fields of health, agriculture and rural development, infrastructure as well as law and judicial sector,” said the ambassador.
