If we are Khmers and patriotic enough, we should choose intellectual solution and work smart to solve our current problems.
Firstly, you should learn about the past history. Why we failed to save the nation? Not all Cambodian leaders, except the current dictator, are betrayers. They wanted to save the country too, even former King Sihanouk, Prince Sirik Matak, Pol Pot and some former Cambodian People's Party (CPP) leaders wanted to get out from the Vietnamese control. But why, when they got power, they could not stabilize the regime and allowed VN to take control over us? The answer is because there is "no compromise", because of "Dictatorship", because of the "Lack of solidarity" and because the leaders are "addicted to the power".
Now, if all the opposition parties, including the royalist parties, unite together, we still have a chance. The ideal solution is to re-establish "The Democratic Party" and choose the best leader, characteristically similar to Prince Sisowath Youtevong. This is the ideal solution, but the realistic outcome might not be a sure thing. Realistically, the opposition Sam Rainsy Party (SRP) should change its vision and policy to accept monarchy, not to merge with, but just to form an alliance with other parties during the election. Just like they share the votes and split the block like in other countries. If two parties tie up together they can win, but if they go to the election individually, they can't win because they split the votes. If they unite, they will eliminate the loss of votes.
Another solution is that the SRP should change its slogan from the ambition of becoming a ruling party to just increasing the voice in the parliament. People now can`t trust the opposition party in leading the country since they don`t have enough human resources. They should just increase the voice to prevent the current leader from doing somewhat reckless things. They should choose the smart criticism and strategy.

It is quite a correct opinion. Actually, I posted the article. There is no perfect leader, however we should choose the good among the bad, rather than the worst one. Intellectual solution still is the hope to save the nation. You will see what changes have occurred in Southeast Asia and Myanmar will reform and ASEAN will be partially integrated in 2015, then Cambodia can not do like what it is doing today.
The young generation will replace the current monkey leaders. Then we will have a chance to challenge. But what we have to prepare now, is to build and maintain the basis of one institution, I mean the party, waiting for the chance to come. I don`t recommend it but if some one wants to choose the radical, extreme action, it is not difficult, if you are ready to sacrifice. Just one person can defeat the dictator with bad health, diabetes. There is no need for bombs, guns or heavy weapons. What you need is one needle. Just sake their hands and prick with deadly poison that has been applied on the needle. But the democratic solution is the best.

Mr. Hun Sen can cry, that I am am Hun Sen. But Mr. Sam Raingsy can't say, that I am Sam Raingsy.
The Khmer people don't believe Mr. Hun Sen but they still trusted him.
Contrary the Khmer people believed Mr. Sam Raingsy but they just don't trust him.
6:38 PM. That is true. Khmer believe Sam Rainsy, but they dont trust him. Khmer trust anybody, as long as they see money. But when they see suffering, they start to believe Sam Rainsy a little bit more.

Not all royalists are stupid and untrustworthiness. Please try to look and see the whole forest. Only a few royal family members, was stupid. They are mature than the normal people. Only SPR alone can save the nation. As some one said, people believe Sam Rainsy but they don`t trust. This the real. I alway go around the country and meet many people. I knew the current situation and know how to increase the right opinion in parliament. One betray the leader upon leader himself too. I hope a good royal family from Sisowath lineage will appear to share to other nationalist leader. Some one said, upon we unite, VN will find the way to destroy, of course they will but not so easy like in the past. The world is changed. Don`t be pessimistic and never move. Even in Cambodia now, is under dictatorship but if we just do a smart critisism, still have a room and smart education, still can recover from the brainwashing by Viet. Action is better than just criticise.

This is a stupid article. Because Hun Sen have the GUN and Intellectuals have the brain that the reason they cannot topple Hun Sun. You get it? next time write something smarter.
You have seen Arab's revolutions.
You can't topple any dictator by intellectual resolutions for, like most thieves or dictators, they come to power by cheating. There for ,they will not give up their power by peaceful means. It means that they fear for their crimes such as corruptions and crime against their own people that they committed will be revealed and be prosecuted by a new government. They will stick to their guns just like Gaddafy of Libya and Mubarak of Egyp.
Like Hun Sen’s case ,you have seen Hun tries to secure his future in power by putting more of his immediate relatives such as sons and in-law to keys positions in the government illegally such as in military positions, policing positions and especially in medias such as TVs and radios, in order to get more grip of the power game.
However, this way of building the house of power is just a temporary building. It won't last for long for the real material that make the house to stand for very long time is to do with people, which is the real bricks the real mortar and the real foundation of the nation's house.
In the meantime, as you have seen the game is clear, that most our people are being kept in the dark and in the fear atmosphere, they know so little about politics or economics or even their own rights, liberty and freedom. On top of that Hun's authorities are watching every word and every step of the opposition activists moves, when they try to convey people to adopt democracy or the truth.
I strongly believe that time and tide of democracy is an unstoppable energy. It will be ripe and it will be chosen by the people as their only vehicle and only medicine to solve and cure the problem of humanity.
The incretions to remove dictators are in the fusion of two important powers, one is the people power that supporting democracy and second one is the gun battle that have to be used to destroy the key systems of dictatorship. To reach people fast is use internet technology which have been described as the magical tools to reach people behind the closed door of dictator’s territory. We have to wait and be more patient for majority of our people have not even have electricity to light up their house.
