Published: 03-Feb-12PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) – Opposition Sam Rainsy Party lawyer Choung Chou Ngy (pictured) was summoned to appear at the Cambodian Bar Association on Friday afternoon, sources said
The association accused the lawyer in January of professional misconduct violating Article 15 of the professional code.
The appearance of Choung Chou Ngy was expected to amount to a warning for giving a news conference without informing the association.
Kandal Provincial Court has accused the lawyer of helping to arrange a jailbreak from a provincial prison in September. He was summoned to a second court appearance on January 13.

Mr. Choung Chou Ngy should present at the court as a monk. In case he is still a monk.
As a monk, he is not able to talk or response the question about something in connecting to the law and politic.
