Cambodia probes bodies in Frenchman's car 15 Jan 2012
Her family is believed to have flown out to Cambodia to arrange for her body to be brought back to the UK while her husband has returned to their home in Broughton Astley in Leicestershire.
Friends and family have paid tribute to the recruitment manager and described her as a "shining star".
A statement released by her family said: "We are devastated by the loss of Kristy who passed away on her honeymoon in Cambodia at the tender age of 27 after heart and cardiovascular system arrest.
"Kristy was a warm, loving and generous young woman with her whole life ahead of her."
Mr Cadman-Jones was too upset to talk about his loss after the pair married in Scraptoft, Leicester last July. They had started their honeymoon before Christmas.
Valerie Cadman-Jones, Mrs Cadman-Jones's mother-in-law, posted a message on the social networking website Facebook and said: "To all that knew my wonderful daughter-in-law, she will be greatly missed.
"May the angels take good care of her, and watch over Damian in his time of need."
Friends also joined in paying tribute to Mrs Cadman-Jones.
Libby Norbury wrote: "She was a legend and always said hello with such genuine warmth. My heart goes out to Damian and their family and friends, remembering her as the shining star she was."
Clare Phillips posted: "Its just so shocking and terrible. She was so wonderful and so full of life. At least her last day was with her soul mate."
Verity Johnson added: "Devastating news. Love going out to all the people the cherished you so dearly, what a cruel blow from life.
"Kristy Cadman-Jones, you certainly knew how to make a lasting impression, R.I.P."
Mrs Cadman-Jones had started her career as a trainee reporter with the Birmingham Post but was a branch manager for recruitment company Robert Half in Leicester at the time of her death.
Phil Sheridan, managing director of the firm, said staff were "extremely saddened" by the news.
Her father-in-law Adam McHenry said: "To all those who know, my love is passed on. To all my friends who don't know, a very dear friend and family member has died unexpectedly in Cambodia. Thanks for all the kind words
"It means the world to know that so many people who didn't know her care about the ones left behind, to everyone that did know her you know what I mean, such a wonderful, outgoing and genuinely inspiring person taken from us in her prime, whilst in a foreign country.
"My heart goes out to her husband and all the family. I'd move heaven and earth to change the situation and I use that phrase with sincerity and gravitas and my heart goes out to Damian, Carol, John and everyone else that she touched."
