Ambassador Ngo Anh Dung to Cambodia offers gifts to flood victims in Cambodia

Vietnam has handed over US$110,000 to Cambodia this month to help flood-hit victims in the nation.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on December 14 handed over US$50,000 in aid to the Cambodian Consulate General to assist flood-hit victims in the country.
The donation was contributed by armed forces’ staff and people in Ho Chi Minh City.
Earlier, HCMC authorities had donated 2,500 gifts worth VND1.25 billion ($60,000) to Cambodians of Vietnamese origin in the neighbor nation.
Since last August, the Cambodian people have been affected by large-scaled and prolonged floods, which resulted in heavy losses of lives and property.
