Steel Fragments from explosion at Preah Vihear to be analyzed

PHNOM PENH, (CEN)- Cambodia is trying to find the truth about the metal fragments which allegedly came from an exploded unmanned plane (pictured) which were found near the vicinity of Preah Vihear temple recently. However, a high-ranking Cambodian police official said that they have not yet found any clue of where the fragments came from.
Gen. Srey Dek, military commander of division number 3 at Preah Vihear Zone, said yesterday that he had ordered the investigation into the incident, but the investigation could not get any clue yet.
He added that a powerful explosion has occurred on 22 December 2011 over Preah Vihear temple and has forced tourists and local people to flee to a safe place briefly.
It was the second explosion at Preah Vihear after the border tension erupted at Preah Vihear border since 2008 after fragments of unmanned drone were found in the area on 17th August 2011.
