PHNOM PENH, (Cambodia Herald)- Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni and King Father Norodom Sihanouk who has close relation with the North Korea, are sending condolence letters to the North Korea today after Kim Jon Il died on 17 December, personal adviser of the King said today.
"Now we are preparing the letters for the King and King Father and the letters will be sent out today," Prince Sisowath Thomico said today.
However, he said that the King and King Father probably will not fly to Pyongyang to attend his funeral ceremony. He added when Kim Il Sung, who is Kim Jong Il's father, died in 1994, the King father also did not attend the funeral ceremony.
King father Norodom Sihanouk is one of the North Korea's close firends. He had a palace in Pyongyang where he had lived before he returned to Cambodia after the 1991 peace agreement.
