Prime Minister Hun Sen expresses condolences for the death of Kim Jong II at the Nort Korea embassy

PHNOM PENH, (Cambodia Herald) - Prime Minister Hun Sen and seven deputy prime ministers visited the North Korean embassy Thursday to express condolences over the the death of Kim Jong Il.
"On behalf of the Royal Government of Cambodia and its people, I would like to express our condolences to the government and the people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for the loss of its leader Kim Jong Il," the prime minister wrote in a condolence book.
In a statement, the North Korean embassy said Kim's death "is the greatest loss for our Party and our revolution, and the greatest loss of our people and the whole Koreans over the world." It said the loss came at an "historic time when the new era has been opened to the completion of the cause for building the powerful socialist state and our revolution has seen the ever-victorious stage with the accumulated difficulties and trials overcome."
The embassy, located next to the prime minister's official residence, said it would be be open to visitors from 10:00 to 18:00 until December 27 with the exception of December 24.
