From Kwai Chung to Phnom Penh

press release

Dec. 22, 2011,

HONG KONG, Dec 22, 2011 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Earlier this month, City Telecom (HK) Limited HK:1137 -1.72% CTEL -1.16% sent 94 Talents to Cambodia for our annual overseas experiential trip. The group consisted of 42 management grade and 52 non-management Talents who were selected by lucky draw from 300 applicants.

During the trip we engaged a number of NGOs including Happy Tree Social Services, Cambodian Children's Fund and Siem Reap Catholic Church. At the NGOs, we played with the kids, sang and danced together, as well as painted colorful mural at the school campus to liven up the environment.

When asked about the purpose of the trip, Ricky Wong, Co-founder and Chairman of City Telecom, said, "There are several reasons underneath, with the first to build close bonding between Talents across different levels after getting to know each other throughout the tour. Secondly, I wish that our Talents can understand more on love and caring, to understand more on the rich and the poor in this world, so as to love their lives, to treasure what they have and to live passionately."
