Beverage company Cambrew will honour their promise to reward SEA Games success today by handing out cash bonuses to gold and silver medalists during a ceremony at the InterContinental Hotel.

Prior to the November event in Indonesia, Cambrew CEO Say Sana Phommasy had pledged US$3,000 for each winner of an individual gold medal and $5,000 for a team gold. Silver medals would earn $500 and $1,000 for a team silver.

Cambodia’s four golds and 11 silvers translated to $23,500 from the Cambrew coffers, although the 24 bronze medals did not receive any renumeration.
