WALLA WALLA -- A pledge campaign at radio station KGTS 91.3, which broadcasts in the Walla Walla area as "Positive Life Radio," brought in more than $200,000 in three days, noted station promotions manager Sali Miller.
The success of the 13th annual Rice for Cambodia Campaign means 333 tons of rice may be purchased for the impoverished Asian country, and is $40,000 more than came in during the 2010 drive, setting a record for the event.
The rice will be distributed next year. For more information call 800-355-4757 or visit www.plr.org.
