PHNOM PENH, Nov. 2, 2011 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen on Wednesday expressed congratulations to China for successfully launching unmanned spacecraft Shenzhou-8 on Nov. 1.
"I bless the spacecraft to return to Earth successfully after its airspace mission," he said during the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of the 5th Cambodia-China Friendship Bridge, or 2nd Chroy Changvar Bridge, across Tonle Sap River in Phnom Penh.
"China's success is the world's success," he said.
The spacecraft would contribute to the world in the research on the issues relevant to the development of China and the development in the region and the world, he added.
The unmanned spacecraft Shenzhou-8 was successfully sent into the designated orbit after the blast-off at 5:58 a.m. on Tuesday at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China's northwestern desert area, carried by an upgraded Long March-2F rocket.
Meanwhile, Hun Sen said the progress of China is "not a threat" to other countries, instead, China's development will benefit developing countries.

This guy is pushing himself against the US more and more. I hope the Chinese will build you a palace like the king. I don't think China will protect you against the US.
Can we build something like this in Cambodia? wait, most of the universities teach corruption instead of real education. How did Hun Sen was raised?hmmm, I don't know the answer but I am sure Khmer knows the answer.
If you haven't heard, EU is asking China to help bail out their economic downfall. Barks all you want, but China is becoming powerful everyday. Those that chose ignorance do not understand the impact of China's in the world. Those that side with the strong will reap the benefit, those that procrastinate will left behind. Cambodia is standing in the middle ground, which is a good choice if she were to economically benefit from both U.S and China. Cambodia is not isolating herself from the rest of the world like North Korea or Myanmar just because she's being friend with China. Only China can help Cambodia become economically strong, America had done little for Cambodia to in term of economic because Cambodia is not much of U.S interest. So don't stupid yourself into thinking otherwise.
comment above, you sound like Hun Sen dog. You must be educated in the US but your disgrace because Hun Sen bought your head.
5:12 AM, my comment must have touch you and your mother in the deepest sexual way. How dare you call me Hun Sen dog just because I want to see Cambodia becoming better. Appearantly you're a digrace Hun Sen dog who's barking at the wrong tree and shitting in the wrong pit.
