A TORQUAY family fighting to bring their adopted Cambodian daughter Pisey to Australia will make a personal plea to Immigration Minister Chris Bowen on Monday.
Michael and Meagan Paterson have finally been granted a meeting with Mr Bowen at his Canberra office.
The news came yesterday after the Geelong Advertiser asked readers to write to Mr Bowen to let the little girl live in Australia.

Mrs Patterson said she hoped the meeting would be the final step in what has been a lengthy and emotionally enduring process.
"We are relieved and grateful to be given the chance to meet with Mr Bowen face to face so he can understand our case and bring Pisey home," she said. Pisey, 5, is currently living in a rape shelter while her adopted parents fight bureaucratic red tape to bring her home.
The Paterson's have exhausted every legal avenue and their fate now lies in the hands of Mr Bowen who has questioned the adoption's legality and refused to grant the young girl a visa.
