Robert Pattinson has put his celebrity to good use and is helping build a home for Cambodian girls.
The actor’s offer of a meet and greet helped raise $80,000 last year for the Go Campaign which assisted them to build a permanent home for PAGE (Program Advancing Girls Education).
The new building will house 20 girls who previously lived in a rental facility that could only fit 12 and they will also be educated.
The girls have had to move quite a few times over the past three years because of health and safety issues but now they will have a permanent home thanks to Robert’s involvement.
But the Hollywood heartthrob is partnering with Go Campaign again this year to raise more funds and will donate a private screening of his upcoming movie, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part One, E! Online reports.
The winner of the auction and their guests will receive a gift bag with signed posters, DVDs and a replica of Bella’s engagement ring.
The prize will go under the hammer at the Go Go Gala on November 10 in Los Angeles, hosted by Ewan McGregor.
