Father John Visser, SDB, on August 30, 2011, promoted to Official of the Order of Orange-Nassau by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. Fr. Visser, Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia Country Representative, was already Knight of Order for his humanitarian works in the favor of unprivileged children and youth in Thailand (40 years) and Cambodia (20 years), where he has contributed in the opening of technical schools and the Don Bosco Children Fund. Currently is working to develop the Don Bosco Vocational Center of Kep and to build a new technical school in Stung Treng, one of the northernmost provinces of Cambodia, near to the Laos border.
