Son Sann's 100th Anniversary Commemoration
Son Sann's 100 year was celebrated this morning at his stupa which is located at Son Soubert orphanage centre in Sre Ampil, Kandal province.
The celebration was joined by 101 monks, former KPNLF officials, friends and foreign guests.
At this special occasion the book on "The Memoirs of Son Sann" was launched.
Son Sann is one of Cambodia's greatest statesmen who was a founder and the president of Khmer People National Libration Front which was created to help liberate Cambodia from Vietnamese invasion. In Site 2 camp where Son Sann was also the director, thousands of Cambodian refugees found a safe haven during the war and benefited from an enlightened administration and achieved good occupations when returning to Cambodia after Paris Peace Agreement in 1991.
