Kuwaiti and Indian Companies Invests over US$20 Millions in Exploration of Mines and Rice-Mill in Cambodia

AKP Phnom Penh, September 12, 2011 –Kuwait’s Pima International Ltd and India’s D&D Pattnaik Ltd have made a joint venture by investing over US$20 millions in exploration of gold, steel mines and rice-mills in Cambodia.

In first step, the companies will invest between US$10 millions to US$25 millions in exploration of the mines in provinces of Kompong Chhnang, Kratie and Mondulkiri, Mr. K.P.R Raja, Chairman of Pima International Ltd said on Thursday during a meeting with his investment partners in Cambodia.

The investment in the gold and steel mines will begin in October, he said, adding that the companies have already invested between US$10 millions to US$15 millions in rice-mills in Prey Veng provice.
