The irregularities of vote registration on 4-5 September 2011:
1- Vote registration officials in Takong commune, Malai district, and Ou Bei Choan commune, Ou Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province were absent from the commune office.
2- Sre Char Commune chief, Snoul district, Kratie province did not issue identity papers to SRP representatives.
3- Vote registration officials in Sre Char commune, Snoul district, Kratie province were consistently late to the commune office.
4- Vote registration officials in Sre Khtom commune, Keo Seima district, Mondulkiri province were not present at the commune office in the afternoon.
5- Vote registration officials in Toul Sangke commune, Russey Keo district, Phnom Penh Capital denied registration to people who had legal documents. They were required to ask for permission from a village chief to register.
6- Vote registration officers in Toul Sangke commune, Russey Keo district, Phnom Penh Capital allowed commune security wearing regimental uniforms to sit down with party representatives in the vote registration office.
7- Security guards in O-Russey 3 commune, 7 Makara district, Phnom Penh Capital threatened SRP representatives who were observing the vote registration.
The Sam Rainsy Party requests to NEC and authorities to take action to solve these irregularities and to protect the events from occurring again.
