AKP Phnom Penh, September 15, 2011–Hong Kong’s film star Ekin Cheng and pop singer Louisa So (pictured) as goodwill ambassadors of Plan Hong Kong have wrapped up an 11-day mission to shoot a short film in Siem Reap province.
The film is involved in the hard life of children at the communities and some families touched by hardship and difficult livelihood in Banteay Srei district, Siem Reap province.
The filming programme was co-organized by Plan Hong Kong and Plan International Cambodia.
The film is made to show in Hong Kong for fund raising from charity in order to support Cambodian children suffered from the hard life in the districts of Srei Snam, Angkor Chum, Banteay Srei and Angkor Thom, as well as Plan International Cambodia-operated area in the country.
It was also shot on the real daily life of the children facing the hardship to be solved such as collecting wild mushrooms, products and sub-products, and hunting wild animals in the forest.
