A Cambodian cargo ship has run aground at the entrance to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
The incident occurred on Friday morning due to a navigational error made by the crew.
None of the sailors on board was injured and people on the ship were evacuated to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
As a result of the accident there was a small leak of petroleum products from the ship.
Currently professionals are working at the scene on pumping all of the fuel from the tanks, once that is complete the "dry" cargo ship will be towed to a repair dock.
