Troops the 9th Brigade based at Chak Chreng, 7 km from Preah Vihear temple, have been withdrawn this morning, Saturday 20th August, and sent back to their original base at O'Chounh in Choam Ksan district, about 20 km from Preah Vihear temple.

Chak Chreng was one of the fiercest battlefields fought between Cambodian and Thai troops during the fighting in April of this year.

This is the fifth withdrawal by Cambodian troops from the Preah Vihear regions after the International of Justice ordered both Cambodia and Thailand to withdraw troops from the disputed areas near Preah Vihear temple. Please read article in Khmer here.

What is wrong with Chea Dara (The General of the Khmer side?

some day, Khmer Empire will regain all the Land from Lao, Thailand, and Vietnam.

I just hope that we have a King like King Jayavarman VII to rule over this expire again.

And I hope Thailand will be broken up into North and South of Thailand. The South of Thailand will be ruled by people who loves freedom and equality not by class.

Kampuchea should be a equal class society.....

But it doesn't seem like that since the founding of the Khmer Expire, so class society will always exist doesn't matter you like it or not.

I hope that we don't and start treating all Khmers equal. The gov't should do everything to educate all Khmers and help them find works or provide them with jobs with they graduate from school. Khmers need more educated people in order for our culture, our society to understand and get along as Khmers; otherwise they will be a civial war just like the 60s and 70s.

There are class society in Thailand, the poor are getting poor-ers and the rich are getting rich-ers, the red shirts are mostly poor people and the Yellow shirts are mostly better off or richer-sssssss who lives in Bangkok.

These guys are used for the prime minister's bodyguards; well-dressed and well-equipped soldiers. The real heroes who staying in the front line are those that wearing flip-flop sandals with caps. My heart goes to those front line.

Nobody cares about Cambodia anymore since its culture, beauty and country is unknown to the rest of the world. Thailand has absorbed all of Khmer culture and presented it at Miss.Universe and does a good job at promoting Thai culture, country and beauty. While us lame Khmer's just sit on our lazy ass and rot and soon become extinct and no one would care if Thai and viet invaded all of Cambodia and they would be like Cambodia who? Either Cambodia joins Miss.Universe and be known or become extinct forever. Our Khmer ancestors must be ashamed and embarrassed at us lame Khmer's descendent by not doing a damn thing to promote our Khmer culture and evolve it. No wonder Thai culture, Thai food and anything Thai is popular due to Khmer's being so lame at everything!!!
