Angelina Lolie louis vuitton
Grazia Daily was really taken with the gorgeous snap of Angelina Jolie in Cambodia taken by Annie Leibovitz for the Louis Vuitton Core Values campaign. So, you can imagine our excitement when we stumbled across this moving behind-the-scenes video of the UN Goodwill Ambassador being interviewed on location in the Siem Reap province.
Angelina was obviously a natural choice to pose for the campaign, following in the footsteps of Bono, Madonna and Scarlett Johansson. But it's not just her staggering beauty, extensive charity work and role within the UN that made her the perfect cover girl. As well as a lifelong love of Louis Vuitton (Angelina is pictured with her own monogrammed Alto bag), Cambodia holds a special place in Ms Jolie's heart.
She first travelled to Cambodia 10 years ago while on the set of the Tomb Raider film and was surprised to learn that it was the first film to be shot there after the war; a war which left devastating consequences for the country now littered with live landmines. Humbled by both its beauty and the strong bonds between the families who've endured extreme poverty, she visited again with the UN and on her 3rd trip, she met her adopted son Maddox, now 9 years old.

In the film, Angelina talks about the significance of the country for her family with her sons eating the local delicacy of crickets "like Doritos" and how her visits there have made her realise how little she learned in school about the Vietnam War and the repercussions it left on the ravished land.
The interview itself is interspersed with beautiful scenes of the Cambodian landscape and its 'sweet natured and kind' inhabitants and a child can be heard singing over images of children playing.
We also get an exclusive look at the shoot with Angelina taking centre stage, bare foot on the small wooden boat and her 4 children in the background who she brought along to the set with her. The 'Core Values' campaign imagery is a far cry from the red carpet gowns we so often seen her pictured in but as Pietro Beccari, Executive Vice President of Louis Vuitton quite rightly observes, "People are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation. I like the fact that it's a real moment. This travel message we give through personal journeys is a fundamental one for the brand". It's also one for Angelina too.
