Cambodian authority have said that they have identified some of the Cambodian victims shot by Thai troops on the morning of last Friday, the 8th July, while they were logging along the Cambodian-Thai border in Oddar Meanchey province.

Up to today, 11 people have reported been killed during the shooting spree by Thai troops on about 100 unarmed Cambodian loggers. Earlier reports said that 11 people were killed, 8 wounded, some seriously, and 30 Cambodian loggers were arrested by Thai soldiers.

Mr. Toch Ra, chief of Cambodian border relations, said the Thai side had ignored his repeated requests for information regarding the fate of those Cambodians still missing, either been arrested or killed. He said they even ignored his requests for the retrieval of the corpses.

Now, four survivors, who were seriously injured, had arrived in Cambodia and have been admitted to hospital. They are: 1. forty year-old Mr. Chy who was injured on the forehead, 2. 36 year-old Mr. Kheng Ly who was injured on his right heel, 3. 17 year-old Mr. Yorn Toeu who had an M-16 bullet still embedded on his leg and 4. Mr. Tang Sophan who had his right leg broken by bullets. The four were admitted to Siem Reap hospital.

Why Hun sen kept his mouth shut while 11 Cambodians were killed by Thai troops like animals? When 7 Thais were arrested for entering Cambodia illegally, the Thai government made a big deal. This means that the Thai government care so much about their people, while Hun Sen doesn't care about the lives of Khmer citizens. Hun Sen should open his foul mouth and scream until the world know about this.

That's right! Self-respect is what Cambodian government really ought to give its thought to.

The right thing to do is to demand that the Thai military unit that perpetrated this despicable act be prosecuted for their crimes and the victims or their families be compensated by the relevant Thai authorities.

By publicly issuing warning to Khmer civilians not to go foraging for timber within the border areas, the Cambodian authorities were in effect giving encouragement to their Thai counterparts to ill-treat Khmer people in these circumstances.

The Cambodian government should educate its citizens about the possible consequences of straying into areas under Thai military control (which could well be Cambodian territories being occupied by Thai troops), but must make it clear at the same time that it would not tolerate this kind of barbarity directed by the Thai military against defenseless Khmer civilians.

If the Cambodian government fails to react, the Thais will take this as Cambodia or its government tacitly approving of their actions.

The culprits must be brought to justice before either Thai or Cambodian court.

Hanoi chose the right zombie for Cambodia. Please all Cambodian wake up.

what a country we have! no one dare to ask Hun why he has done nothing about this?

What can poor people do if all the assets such as farmland and top businesses sold to Hanoi?.The policy of COUNTRY FOR SELL of Hun Sen will only push all poor farmers to face extreme poverty.

Thailand have repeatedly committed crime against humanity. In the 21st century Thai has shown themselves as a nation that will never come out of the wood.

Yingluck( the new Thai elected PM ) should apologise and pay compensation for the families who lost their lives.

I would like to urge all the oppositions parties to send this case and many others to all embassies and the ICJ. Thai military commanders has a responsibility to answer for these crimes.

This crime here is an act of crime against all Cambodian,we must stand up and boycott all Thai imports,to show that we are a nation in unity.

Thais is not far behind from pol pot in mistreatment of Cambodian people, the Siem have been mistreated Khmer since the 15th century and till doing so without any consequence, its not the first and and not the last, from 1975 till present day at least close to 10,000 Khmer have been killed by the Siem.and it time for Cambodian leader to warn the Thai they will face the consequences.

A few ways that Cambodian gov can do:

1. Complain to the united nation of Thai cruelty ( such cruelty is breach the UN charter and could face the severe punishment by UN criminal court).
2. If the Thai not arrest and bring the culprits to face the justice the Cambodian will not responsible for any repercussion from Cambodian people on Thai citizens and Cambodian gov will do the same ( will not arrest or punish of whom who kill Thai ).

It time for Cambodian leader to look at Cambodian dignity and value as the human being and she or he should fight to protect and preserve Cambodian right and do not let any alien violet the right of it citizens.

One thing to be clear acting illegal it not deserve to be shot and killed there is a justice system she or he should stand try and convict accordingly to the laws anyone should not take the laws to their own hand, and they should let the justice system take it course.

Illegal or acting wrongly it is the Thai accusation it may not be the fact,to whom that jump to conclusion is the insult to the families of the dead men and the justice system if there is one.

Finally credit to the Khmerization for the article .

I have heard of Thai and Vietnamese fishermen straying into or deliberately fishing in Cambodian waters since the early 1970s when I was a school boy. But, I have never heard of any of these illegal fishermen having been shot or harmed by Cambodian coast guard authorities. Quite the contrary. Recently, two Cambodian naval officers had been hospitalised having narrowly escaped a violent gang attack by Vietnamese fishermen on Cambodian water as they attempted to apprehend the culprits!

Now it's been common knowledge that Cambodian sea fishing grounds are richer than those of either Thailand or Vietnam. This is because Cambodians traditionally did their fishing inland and there was no real need to venture out to sea to do so, thus allowing fish-stock to increase in Cambodian waters due to under-fishing there as compared to far more intensive fishing activities in neighbouring countries' sea waters. Perhaps, Khmer people still have a general preference for fresh water fish over salt water varieties.

However, with inland fish reserve depleting fast owing to population increase and other commercial exploitations, the nation could also look to developing off-shore fishing industry to help meet its demand for fish consumption or protein source and subsequently alleviate the stress on inland over-fishing.

May lord Buddha bless their souls. We must except their ending. They have had enough experience of pain and suffering in their lifetime in this cruel world. The sadness of their family are temperary but the victims' souls are forever free from the bonding of their physical forms. They are no longer suffering of pain like us. It is we that are suffering. We allow our heart to leak out loves and take in hates. We will sink in the ocean of hate and swim among the devils in satan world that exist in this realm. It's hate inside a human soul that fuel him to take another human life. When a life is taking away of another life, it's against a universal law of existence. When a man kill another man, it's against god permission. There will be punishment by god of a person or a nation that commit the most sinful act, killing. The world is becoming darker everyday, brothers turn against brothers, mothers turn against her children, father will kill his own son, nations will turn against each other. The time of cleansing is upon us. Purify you mind and soul to keep yourself safe. Love your neighbors. Treat other as how you want other to treat you. Good deeds will be rewarded with good deed, bad deed will be rewarded with bad deed. Seek goodness and you shall find god.
