AKP Phnom Penh, July 5, 2011 –New Zealand has provided scholarships to 253 Cambodians, New Zealand’s Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Bebe Corry said in the student reception in Phnom Penh recently.
The New Zealand’s government has provided scholarships to 253 Cambodian students and civil servants during the last five-year at the total cost of US$ 5.5 million, he said.
In the coming year program under New Zealand ASEAN Scholars Award, New Zealand will provide 10 to 30 scholarships more to Cambodian students, he said.
New Zealand has provided scholarship to Cambodian students in 2005.
