Dear President Sam Rainsy:
I am appealing to Sam Rainsy to take time to re-examine the Sam Rainsy Party (SRP) party closely regarding the "I" philosophy.
I realized that you are probably not going to listen, but I am offering this message to you and the leaderships any way, like it or not here it goes: Your movement has done many good things for Cambodian society; it also assist the government in making sure that there are some checks and balances in the Cambodian political scheme. The SRP has done amazing job but not enough to win the election. Forget the accusation of election fraud because it doesn't match up.
You have fought hard battles with the ruling Cambodian Ppeople's Party (CPP) but on many occasions you ended up shooting yourself in the foot or your works had produced very little result. There are many other opposition parties that ready to run for election in 2013 and possibly join your efforts. I realized you are the biggest opposition party in the country, but is slowly weakening, not because of your leadership but because of the lack of strategic planning and well-thought out campaign strategies. I have seen many internal break-ups due to the power struggle among the SRP leadership; folks jumping ship left and right.
I have seen you picked the wrong players to play with on international stage. You have tried very hard to have other international communities to assist you to regain your parliamentary position in the royal government, but you sought the wrong party to help you regain your position. This is clearly a lack of power analysis from your leadership. While there are many opposition political parties that claimed to fight for the best interests of Khmer people, many were doubtful groups but we don't know the motivation behind it. I was wondering if you had ever planned to dissolve your party name and create a new one so that others can participate without feeling that their hard works are in vein? I am sorry to ask such a bold question. I have met with many members of your leadership team and I asked them why they left your party. Many told me that "Why remain with the SRP if my hard work will never amount to anything or being recognized by the SRP leadership"? "I cannot become party leader in the future no matter how hard I worked" "Mr. Sam Rainsy will remain as President for life and when he die, his name continues to glorify through the party name and no one else".
They admitted that it is selfish thinking but people's motivations are based on "self-interests", whether in hoping to go to heaven or just feeling good about what they have accomplished.
Sometimes ago, the Human Right Party wanted to merge with the SRP but they can't seem to move forward with the formation because they are afraid of losing their identity to the SRP. Don't get me wrong, they all love Khmers the same as the SRP but they all wanted their hard works to be recognized and have a chance to be in the leadership position some days. Why not?
It is normal to think that way. If you work for a company, you will want to become a supervisor or ownership of the company some day. Will Sam Rainsy dissolve the party name to create the new party where all oppositions can join hand and work equally to benefit Khmers and ultimately reward them equally of their hard works? Will Sam Rainsy ignores the outcries of true democracy to be born and still be stubborn and remained in the "I" personality cult? What will it take for Sam Rainsy to look for the common interests and forget the "I" mentality and start thinking about the "WE" mentality?

Who would be a better person to be President of SR party, Warrior Blood?
- Sam Rainsy, his vice president, his wife, and other senior close friends of Sam Rainsy should be honorable president.
- Kem Sokha should be President of SRP+HRP merge.
The climate of khmer politic is getting harder and harder.Even on the ground Khmer people support SRP as the strongest opposition party,but at the ballot box for every election CPP will be win & win forever.Yuon hanoi had created NEC which is never be neutral and plus the police & armed forces are its mercenaries .They would kill anyone who destruct its ways.
Sam Rainsy is not perfect but he's a real Khmer Democrat who will be the next leader.

A bunch of HRP are the opportunists & the losers who are not going to bring any benefits to Cambodia & its People.

The author is right. But seems to advocate on behalf of HRP. I have met and talked with the president, Kem Sokha. He does not seem genuine and seems to advocate the same as SRP but with a different head. These party will fail like Funcinpec. Sam Rainsy is following Ranariddh path of self destruction. Kem Sokha is on his way there too. The right thing for Sam Rainsy to do is have a new leader for the party. He can always guide his party from a distance.
Have Sam Rainsy learn anything from Thailand's election July 3rd, 2011? I want to make it clears to President Sam Rainsy and its leadership; I have no intention to svay my oppinion for HRP. I dont work for HRP nor gain any notoriety from HRP. However, if you continue to attack HRP, you are attacking self. Think about what I said. Sam Rainsy leadership team thinks that other opposition parties mount to nothing and weakening every day; their assessment might be corrected but I wouldn't jump for joy on that ideology. Dont be too happy when you see other oppositions are weakening because you are next in line. You should encourage them to be stronged so that it can be a force for democracy. Let not derail the main point here. If Thaksin can muster a political party from oversee and won. Why can't Sam Rainsy do that? Why can't Sam Rainsy bring all oppostions parties to be united under one banner for the sake of Cambodian democracy? Did Thaksin serve as the President of the party? NO, but he has influential power. This is what you should be seeking if you want real change. Does it matter that you have to be the center of the attention? What matter most is that you work hard to change Cambodia's democracy. You know full well that CPP suffered defeat by Funcipec in the past. CPP is is not undisputed champ or unbeaten champ as others gave them credits. Why can't you understand that there is way to beat CPP. Dont focus your energy on the nonsense election fraud or cheating excuses. Sam Rainsy alone will not defeat CPP, however Funcepin, Ran Riddh Party, HRP, SRP and others combine have overwhelming chance with the right campaign strategies. You need all of the oppostion support; dont focus on the seat won by other oppositions. If you do that then you will miss the most important thing which is unite democracy movement. Some commentors insulted that Warrior Blood should be the President. I have no intention to reveal my identity or wanted to involve with Cambodian politic. I love Khmer and I gave credit where it is due. If SRP is wrong, I will tell that is wrong, if CPP done something I will give credit where it is due. There is a simple way to fix the leadership if all parties join hand. You can have the election and whoever win, then serve as the President of the party. Each parties must sign MOU vowes to work as a team and saction should be in placed to those violators. If member party violated the agreement then you could remove them or fine them etc. Whatever the group desire put it in the MOU. You should also have strategies to defend from parasite infested in the party etc.
Once you form the Democracy movement; you should seek trainings for those in leadership postions and foot soldiers so that they understand and be on the same page with each others. Well, I have share enough information and I hope that SRP can bring every body together for the common interests. LEARN FROM WHAT THAKSIN IS DOING AND YOU CAN DO THE SAME..

I like the warrior article! Mrsam Rainsy couldn't cling to the present position and keep his party name for ever and imagine he would be irreplaceable.
It's time for him to stand down and hand over to a capable younger generation, and every one will be grateful to him.
The younger generation is the key words. I like that a lot. SR wife, and other senior close friends of Sam Rainsy is not a good idea.
Blood Warrior, I am tatally agreeing with you 100%. Mr. Sam Rainsey, please consider these idea for the sake of our people. Sir, we never questioning your love of the Khmer people and you have done so much in an attempting to save our country; however, SRP is still continuing to strugle to capture the heart of the khmer people. We Khmer can not afford another land slide victory by the CPP. The longer YOUN have a strong grips on our throats, the more apprehensive we will become as a nation. We have to try a new stretagy because the old one didn't work for the last 20 years.
