CAMBODIA SUPPORTS CHINA IN THE DEFENSE OF HER SOVEREIGNTY OVER THE SOUTH CHINA SEA
On behalf of the Cambodian people, the 28 elected Members of Parliament (26 National Assembly Members and two Senators) from the Sam Rainsy Party would like to express their support to, and their solidarity with, the Peoples’ Republic of China at a time when this great friend and ally of Cambodia is rightfully asserting its sovereignty over the South China Sea, including the Spratly Islands and the Paracel Islands.
We have been denouncing and condemning Vietnam’s arrogance and groundless claims to territories belonging to neighboring countries. The continuous violation of Cambodia’s territorial integrity by expansionist Vietnam and the bellicist position Hanoi is adopting in South East Asia and in the South China Sea constitute a serious threat to peace and stability in the region.
We urge Vietnam to stop stirring up tensions with provocative military exercises and to stop using her current position as chair of the Association of South East Asian Nations to try to internationalize any conflict Hanoi wants to exacerbate in the South China Sea.

The man without the morality Sam can't be Khmer PM ever because he can't distinct between right and wrong.
He let personal emotion play on his decision.
KI and Khmerization are sam rainsy supporter why you let people see the dark side of Sam that every dirty tricks Sam is not far from Hun Sen.
If he become The PM he will try every tricks to Keep his job just like every body else in the past.

Mike, why are you so sensitive to someone criticizing Vietnam? Are you a Khmer with Vietnamese head? Sam Rainsy is way, way better than your corrupt boss Hun Sen.
SRP is playing with fire or sometimes it unintentionally shoots itself in the foot. And anotehr word SRP is too hurry to make take side.
It is understandable that the support pf SRP may be drawing out of emotional hate toward VN for her stealing Cambodia's territory such as Kok Tral Island and land border areas. The Parcel and Spraytley Islands conflict is involved only with China and VN. Remember that Phillipine, Malayia, and Brunei are claiming part of these islands. Aquino,the current President of Phillipine is the friend of SAm Rainsy is not happy for SROP stand on this issue. Another friend of Sam Rainsy, Anwar, the former deputy (although he is, being accused of corruption and lewed conduct) would one day to be Malayia PM, feels uneasy if Malaysia comes into the conflict with China. It wouold be nice for SRP if Malayia heads on the knock with VN as well as Phillipine. But it is less likely since VN knows that she needs Alliance in the region of laying claim to the islands.
Words for SRP, be careful what you wish for...make it long view not from a short temper. You can take side when the time comes. There still plenty of time to make this choice. Let Hun Sen jumps first. SRP should do this only when SRP is asked by the Chinese. If it has to do make it less dramatic comment like this one... then step up more if needed
I never see this cat denounce Thailand for the agression against Cambodia. Why?
