Khmer Front Line Soldiers

Hello fellow bloggers,
Here are some pictures that I hope would accentuate your knowledge about our military. These are the images of our brave soldiers in full combat gear. Pictures and images are rare as our military are strictly limiting the access of medias due to security reasons. Even with that being the case, I do believe that what we are seeing are not all the arsenals that our troop have. Hun Sen wouldn't challenge and ultimately issue an ultimatum to the Thais if he didn't have all his ducks in a row. God bless Cambodia, our soldiers and our people.
Best Regards,
The Great Khmer Empire

All of these soldiers are believe to be Hun Sen's bodyguard and they station where the temple is. I have been to temple my self and as soon as get out of car, they all came ask for money from us and so we did gave all to them. Then we felt sorry for those who station frontline when we got there. because we got no more money or gifts. And they were not look anything like these pictures at all.

True, these are Hun Sen's bodyguards from the elitist Brigade 70. They stationed around Hun sen's house and in Kampong Speu, but were sent to Preah Vihear during the fighting in February 2011. The frontline soldiers were former Khmer rouge soldiers and some of them are still wearing Khmer Rouge uniforms. But I'm happy that these bodyguards are now stationing near the frontlines, but for how long? Maybe they have already been withdrawn to Hun Sen's compound already.

It's doesn't meter what they wear and even they are ex-KR but they the one is called the Khmer patriot to save your ass.
They wear what ever comfort to them so they can hit and move.
Even they ask for your cigarette is still better than US Army is train to killed unarm refugee with Thai army

Thai forces should hit these guys (H.S. bodyguard unit) hard next time around.

If these guys are captured or killed, we won't shed our tears. However, I have respect and admiration and sympathy for the guys in the front line.

Again, we hope Thai would hit these pigs hard.

I don't think so stupid US army train Thai army to killed refugee and unarm
civilian only.

11:36PM.. yep.., I hope these pigs would hit Thai hard because they can. Thai troops are coward when dealing face to face fighting with these guys. Hun Sen bodyguards or not, they are Khmer soldiers defending Cambodia's turf, any SOB such as Siem want a piece of Cambodia will have to deal with hails of bulletstorm coming from these guys. Just because some Cambodian troops are well arm and equip don't necessarily mean that that they're Hun Sen's guards. Even if they are, who fucking cares. Fucking procrastinators.

No and No. They are not Hun Sen's body guards and they don't ask people for money. So, don't make up stories. Let support our troops and don't let our country down. It's not about Hun Sen. It's about our country. These soldiers are will to die for the country that they love, we must give them encouragements. I do not call any one a traitor as Khmerization tries to spice it up, if you disagree with me. I only able express my disappointment, if you think otherwise.

2:07 AM,
I totally agree with you. I really don't know why these people call our soldiers "pigs". I would challenge them to go to the front line themselves and face the enemies.
11:36PM, they are not "pigs". They are our soldiers defending the motherland. I understand that many of you do not like Hun Sen, but please do yourself a favor and stop patronizing our military. If you disagree with Hun Sen, I suggest that you form a party and run for elections yourself and not using keyboards as a weapon of choice.
I posted these pictures because I am so proud of our military. And BTW, these are the elite units. God forbid, if the front line guarded by former KR soldiers ever broken, then the Thai soldiers would face these men. Let me tell you, from what I've heard from many different sources, these are the best of the best. They are trained by a combination of countries including, US, Indonesia, Vietnam, and China. If that ever happend, the Thai soldiers would face the fight of their lives. They are no jokes. God bless Cambodian, our soldiers and our people.

Best Regards,
The Great Khmer Empire

These guys were khmer rouge soldiers...

You are right Pheng. I would not call it a foriegn's policy. I might call it a foreign's idea. Some one happened to go to France to educated himself, and when he returned home, he killed a lot of people. Most of these KR leaders are educated in EU.
