Illegal Cambodians Injure Burmese Workers [in Thailand]


Groups of Cambodian and Burmese construction workers were charged for causing public nuisance and Cambodians were particularly charged for working in Thailand without permits.

Pattaya, 8 June 2011 [PDN]: Pol. Lt. Punlop Ringrod (Deputy Inspector Suppression of Pattaya Police Department) was informed of a fight between Cambodian and Burmese workers at a construction site on Soi Pacific, Nong Prue.

According to the police, there were over 20 workers involved in the fight.
They were using either swords or timber tools as weapons, an officer said adding that two Burmese men were injured.

Rasai, 24 was slashed by the sword on his leg while his arm was broken by the timber tool and Punsai, 30 was wounded on the temple, an officer continued.

The injured victims reported that while they were drinking with their Burmese friends, a Cambodian worker, Sian approached them and complained that they were too noisy.

Soon after, Sian came back with a group of Cambodian workers, who were all carrying swords and timber tools, victims said.

Three Burmeses and five Cambodians were the prime suspects of the fight and arrested for interrogation at Pattaya Police Station.

Only the Burmese workers had work permits but the Cambodians did not, an officer said.
All of the people involved in the fight were charged with public nuisance and Cambodian workers were particularly charged for illegally working in Thailand.

All Thais should be charged for the robbed of Khmer land which is now known as Thailand. The Thais were refugees who are living in an illegal Khmer land, which make them all illegals.
