It is absurd by reading the ICJ's press release, that at the second of round of the oral statement made by H.E. Mr. Virachai Plasai of Thailand to the court, that he respectfully request the Court to remove the complains of Cambodia filed against Thailand from the General List[I believe in he meant to request the court to dismiss the case] citing that the court do not have jurisdiction over the matter.

It appears that Mr. Virachai Plasai lack of information pertaining to the international laws. Under the International Court of Justice act as a world court. The court has a dual jurisdiction (jurisdiction in contentious cases and advisory jurisdiction): It decides, in accordance with international law, disputes of a legal nature that are submitted to it by States, in this matter of disputes between us[Cambodia] vs. them[Thailand]relating to the border disputes and its surrounding areas, the complains is very well under the Jurisdiction in Contentious Cases of the ICJ.

That was pretty bold of Thailand government to present this illiterate statements to the justices of the International Court of Justice. Very bold and very disrespectful to the court.

Thailand made contradictory claims to the court. Thailand claimed that Cambodia was the one who invaded Thai territory and yet it also asked the court to dismiss Cambodia's complaint, saying the court has no jurisdiction over the matter. The logic is, if Thailand believes that Cambodia was the invader and Thailand is the victim, it would be a benefit to Thailand to have the court heard the case. Thailand's contradictory statements have shown that Thailand is the aggressor and that Thailand cannot be trusted.
