After the so-called 'secret' phone conversation between Mr. Kem Sokha and himself was leaked to the media last week, Prime Minister Hun Sen has boasted that he has more 'secret documents' about the opposition parties, including a recorded conversation between himself and the opposition leader Sam Rainsy.

Speaking during a graduation ceremony at the Royal University of Public Administration this Monday morning, Mr. Hun sen claimed that he also has a 'secret' recorded conversation with Mr. Sam Rainsy in which Mr. Sam Rainsy told him that if Mr. Kem Sokha was allowed to form a political party, Mr. Sokha will oppose the prime minister and his government in every aspect. Mr. Hun Sen claimed that he had told Mr. Sam Rainsy that 'we' cannot prevent anyone from forming a political party. He added that he talked about his 'secret' conversation with Mr. Sam Rainsy now because he just want to remind Mr. Rainsy of what he had confided with him.

In late May, Prime Minister Hun Sen had ordered the leaking of a telephone conversation between himself and Mr. Kem Sokha. In the phone conversation, Mr. Kem Sokha and Mr. Hun Sen was heard attacking Mr. Sam Rainsy and talking about his style of leadership.

After the leak, the Sam rainsy Party and its supporters had accused Mr. Kem Sokha of being a puppet of the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP). He Hun Sen added that now that information about Mr. Sam Rainsy's conversation with him had been leaked, will the SRP be accused of being the puppet of the CPP also?

In the aftermath of the leak of the so-called 'secret' telephone conversation between Mr. Kem Sokha and Prime Minister Hun Sen, the CPP-affiliated media as well as the SRP and its supporters had capitalised on the issue and stepped up the attacks on Mr. Kem Sokha and his Human Rights Party as being a puppet of the ruling CPP.

Hun Sen is unarguably a smart guy. In his tape conversation with Mr.Kem Sokha, he did not initiate the bad mouth of Mr.Sam Rainsy and he talked about democracy system which allowed people to set up political party.
I urge him to release any document he had relating to Mr. Sam Rainsy to the public as well.
After all of this done, the public will know that he had made himself accessible to both Mr. Rainsy and Mr.Sokha to be with him if they were willing to.I have no doubt in my mind that Mr. Hun Sen will allow these 2 persons to jointly work with him.
We need to think about our nation interest first before our individual self.
Mao and Chang of China were willing to work together during war against Japan.

Thai will defy the ICJ decision and the US will not help Cambodia if Rainsy still in exile and the oversea Khmers still not rally behind Phnom Penh.

Yes it is going to be tough and before all the permanent members of UNSC willing to help Khmer we have to show them our unity.

So,I would suggest all the Khmer top leaders from every parties to meet, to eat and drink(modestly) for our nation survival. And I appeal to all Khmers oversea please at least temporarily rally behind the Royal Khmer Government.

It's a nonsense. What is a secret? conversations among politicians are just normal. Perhaps, Cambodia is exceptional.

Talking each others is much better than killing each others.

Come on, dude.
