PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 07, 2011 – ACHIEVING Cambodia’s goal of exporting one million tonnes of rice per year by 2015 will require investments of US$350 million over the next four years, according to a Ministry of Economy and Finance official.
“Cambodia currently has the capacity to produce 200,000 tonnes of rice for export, because we lack capital and high-standard rice mills,” said Ministry Secretary of State Hang Chuon Naron yesterday.
Speaking on the sidelines of a conference on “Environment, Agriculture and Development”, he said that it would take $150 million to build high quality rice mills, and another $200 million to buy unprocessed rice from farmers, to meet the 2015 goal. http://www.tourismindochina.com/cambodia/tours/

If this is what it takes to achieve such a lofty goals, then let's do it. If it means that the government has to sell bonds and other financial instruments, let's go for it. It would be a great achievement for us all to see Cambdodia leap from no rice export just a few years ago to 1 mil tons.God bless Cambodia.
Who wants to do and manage this kind of sweaty works whilst one can sit in an air conditioned casino and simply beg customers to play and spend moneys?
Wasting electricity and precious living time is nothing to care about because it gives a lot of fun and those electricity was generated right there on the spot by casino owner,it is not like imported it from neither Siam nor Viet.
Angkor Wat was built by hard work Khmer ancestors? Really?
I thought Indra magically pulled it out of his sleeve using same blue print of his own barn then gave it as a sweet gift to Ketu Mealea who knew the trick of kissing Indra butt. Ketu was a divine bastard of Indra with Khmer whore when the pervert Indra came to visit Cambodia and played Khmer casino at pre-Angkorian time! Once Indra was a mighty deity according to Veda, then he was ousted like Mubarak of Egypt and took over by Brahma. Good bed time story for a lazy boy like me.
