AKP Phnom Penh, May 31, 2011 –The Cambodian-Australian Defense Cooperation Working Group (DCWG) gathered here on Monday to discuss bilateral cooperation, especially the future aid projects from the Australian Department of Defense to the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF).
The Cambodian side was led by Suon Samnang, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Policy and Foreign Affairs and Head of RCAF Military Cooperation Coordination Group, while the Australian side was led by Danniel Smith, a senior officer of the Australian Department of Defense.
Offshore security, anti-terrorism, visit exchange and English training programs for Cambodian officers were also discussed on the occasion.
