The party is coming to town for those planning their “I do’s” in the Cambodian capital.

The fair will celebrate the art of weddings with workshops, one-on-one consultations and displays by local and regional creators.
The event marks the first luxury international wedding exhibition in Cambodia and is proof of the country’s growing appeal as a romance destination. Some of the most reputable names in the wedding industry--including Malaysian company The Wedding Planners, and couture wedding collection designers La Flaire—collaborated with the Sofitel for the event.
“The wedding fair in June will be something new for Phnom Penh in terms of scale and attraction,” said Didier Lamoot, the hotel’s general manager. “For the first time, couples in the city will easily have their pick of creative ideas from the cream of local and international vendors. They’ll see how the Sofitel celebrates weddings and experience its second-to-none service. On the last day of the fair, the hotel’s grand ballroom, gardens and poolside will be in full bloom with lots of fun activities.”
The fair is open to the public on June 5th, when the Sofitel grounds will be adorned in La Flaire signature themes, such as Oriental Chic and Summer Breeze, while cake decoration demonstrations, models in designer gowns and classical band strollers will entertain the crowd. Displays will be set up and vendors on hand for consultation with prospective brides and grooms.
Aside from wedding design, the fair will also showcase themes for corporate events and parties.
The Luxury Wedding fair officially begins with a press conference on June 2nd, wedding workshops for participating vendors on June 3rd, and opening ceremonies for invited guests on June 4th.

This is why cambdian govt trying get rid of slum in Beoung Kok Lake? We need to upgrade our city and get rid of all slums...Remembered people came and took lands that belonged to state...You lucky that govt given you $8000 or a new condo to live...Don't be greedy and taken advantage...
9:00 AM, it is not the government, it is the corrupt and greedy officials and businessmen who connived to steal people's land to get rich. If the government want to develop, no one is against it but just pay the people with the right compensation, not stealing their land. Remember, the hotel is this picture is a Thai hotel, not owned by Cambodians. Do you support foreigners to steal Cambodian people's land? We want them to invest, but please pay the right compensation to our poor people, the landowners.
