MOVIE actor Ian “Egg” Johnson was seen enjoying some of the sights of Phnom Penh by tuk tuk over the weekend as he was in the Kingdom as part of a family holiday.
The Australian star of the comedy romance movie Oyster Farmer, written and directed by Anna Reeves in 2004, says he is currently between film projects.
The actor, 63, is well known for his theatrical performances on the Sydney fringe, although he made quite a hit playing an oyster farmer in the movie – his only celluloid performance to date.
Accompanied by his manager, wife Lyn Johnson, and son Warwick and his partner Andrew Feros, Johnson said he had enjoyed flying over the temples of Angkor Wat by helicopter before visiting friends in Phnom Penh en route to Vietnam.
