Don and Bridget Brewster of Lincoln were inspired after watching a TV program about the child sex trade. The couple is credited with rescuing more than 200 Cambodian girls victimized by human traffickers.

The Brewster's say even though Cambodian government authorities profit from the pedophile business - the authorities haven't kicked them out.

Bridget: "They know that our organization does do good things. We're helping children get educated and we provide healthcare services. Also, they just don't want to rock the board with a Western couple, making a big deal."

Don: "We get threatened. But we don't have fear because what Bridget said - they're not about to hurt us as Westerners."

The Brewsters have established two facilities called "after-care" centers in Cambodia where victims are taught self-esteem.

The couple is back in the Sacramento area temporarily to raise funds for their non-profit Agape International Missions. The money will be used to expand their rescue efforts in Cambodia.
