(VOV) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will pay an official visit to Cambodia on April 23 and 24 at the invitation of Cambodian PM Semdech Hun Sen.
The information was released at a press conference by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 21.
Mr. Dung is planned to discuss with Cambodian leaders the measures to boost bilateral cooperation in the spirit of friendship.
The two PMs will also chair the second conference on promoting Vietnam’s investment in Cambodia in the capital city of Phnom Penh.
** In response to reporters’ questions on the meeting between PM Dung and Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun, Nguyen Phuong Nga, the Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson, stated that Vietnam and China have agreed to soon sign an agreement on fundamental principles to guide the settlement of sea-related differences and arising issues through peaceful negotiations and based on international law, especially the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties (DOC) in the East Sea.
Both sides are now working closely together on the content of the agreement, Nga said.
