The Cambodian army has suffered more losses than the Thai military in the latest border clashes, army spokesman Sansern Kaewkamnerd said on Tuesday.
Col Sansern said there were fresh clashes overnight along the disputed border erupted - about 7pm, 10.30pm and 3am. One Thai soldier was killed overnight.
"The Thai army is not on the defensive. When they fired five, we fired 20 back," he said.
Cambodia had suffered 10 times the losses of the Thai forces, he said, but the Thai army did not want to invade because it would then become a full-scale war.
He did not give actual details of the Cambodian losses.

This information is not accurate. Thai the one who lose more than Cambodia. You yourself know why i say that.

Let the Thai show their provocative rhetorics and arrogant manner. It will only play into our favor in the eyes of the international community. The more they try to look tough, the more damage they do to themselves in term of public relation.
We should do all we can to encourage such manner from the Thai. Their arrogance will be their down fall. Let's help the dickhead show their true color.
well in military analysts and of tactical point, u must take most source into consideration even from the enemy point of view. don't always rely on one source, is what my father in-law in the 3rd Khmer division told me. we may lost many but they suffer as well. a good soldier WILL ALWAYS READ FROM DIFFERENT SOURCES.

Only idiots think winning battles and killing more of the enemy will win you the war. I think American have proven how wrong their way of thinking is in Vietnam.
True or false, no matter how much we lost more than them. That won't be the important factor in winning this war.
Politics will be the most important factor in winning the war. Military operation is as good as it serves the political goal.
you guys shouldn't blame this guy. he only say to keep his soldiers from dropping their gun and run. we know who's really hurting.

3:48 PM, agree. We must take every information, even from our enemy, into consideration, analyzed it and form an accurate opinion. If Gen. Chhum Socheat cries so emotionally, there must be something horrific. I think our soldiers are very brave, but I think they suffered high casualty because they don't have proper weapons, only outdated ones and they are small in number compared to Thailand which has abundance of troops. I think the Cambodian government hide the number of casualty. However, Let's pray to their soul. May they rest in peace in heaven.

agree, our people whom we have lost , may heaven expect you now, to former KR soldiers who now serve Cambodia and die as a Khmer soldier, the eternal guilt that u have deep down inside may we wish u the same safe passage because ur suffering have ended u may close ur eyes now.

Who believed this craps? Only one Thai soldier died..?? Fighting heavy like this...especially with former khmer rouge army?...forget It! Thai side only good in shelling from far distance...on the ground troop fighting,...forget It! Khmers are harden on ground, if Khmer has strong air support like Thai sikde...Forget It!! Thailand has no Chance!
