A Cambodian commander claimed that during half an hour of clash at Phnom Trop today, 5 Thai soldiers were killed on the spot.
-As at today, 5,055 Cambodian families, equivalent to 28,180 people, have been displaced by the 5 days fighting between Cambodian and Thai troops in Oddar Meanchey and Preah Vihear provinces.
-There are reports that the Thai company that provides electricity to Cambodian border towns, such as Samrong town, had been ordered to cut electricity to the towns. All electricity to Phnom Dangrek areas and Samrong town had been cut at 6:20 p.m tonight.
-The Cambodian Ministry of Defence had issued a statement (pictured) that the Thai Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwan will visit Cambodia to hold talks with Cambodian defence Minister Tea Banh for a ceasefire talk to resolve the border conflict.
