Two of TEAR's international partners from TASK in Cambodia, Pauv and Chern, will be in Canberra on 22 March to share with us about their work in Phnom Penh slums bringing hope to people through a range of health and development projects (see www.task.org.kh for more details).
Pauv, the Executive Director of TASK, is an encouraging and inspiring speaker with a vision for his country. TASK seeks to empower the poor to take control of their own development, and build a better future.
TEAR Australia is a movement of Christians in Australia responding to the needs of poor communities around the world. Our motivation comes from our belief that God loves all people, and in Christ offers them the opportunity of a new life. We believe that God is just, and has particular care for the poor and those who suffer as victims of injustice.
