Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said on Wednesday that other developing countries benefited from China's economic progress.

He made the remarks at a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a China-financed container terminal.

"When China sees high growth, it will benefit other developing countries in terms of increasing trade and attracting more Chinese investors and tourists to their countries," he said.

"No one can prevent China from progressing," said Hun Sen. "Now, China is the locomotive of Asian economic growth, and in the near future, China will be the locomotive of the world economic growth. "

Most of the Asian markets have grown substantially over the past decade. Countries like China, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, etc have shown brilliant increase in GDP. Stock markets have shown upwards trend consistently where the western markets have struggled.
