The opposition Sam Rainsy Party and Human Rights Party has just released a statement about their unification talks as follow:

The SRP and HRP have met to negotiate to officially unite both parties with the first meeting held on 10th February and the second time on 15th February 2011.
At the third meeting on 25th February, the working groups from both parties have understood each other more on each other's common goal and have jointly drafted a model statute for the future merged party.

I think SRP and HRP discussion is a big step forward. If Sam Rainsy oppose it, he is against Cambodian people, and SRP supporters should think about it. They should make sure to have converging values and ideas.
Of course they are both against Hun Sen, corruption and freedom of speech. However, what are their respective thoughts about Thai and Vietnam Border? What do they think about military, education, transportation, infrastructure, China investments, developping roads, etc.
Better be clear before merging together. Otherwise, the merging will fail, and it will split again.
I don't see this news in KI-Media. I know Sam Rainsy is behind KI-Media, and he is against the HRP and SRP unification.
Is he against this bilateral talks?
If so, SRP party should get a new leader. I propose SRP vote for their leader. MP Mu Sochua and MP Son Chhay are great leaders. This would be true democracy!
