Chinese government on Thursday donated machinery to Cambodian King's working group for humanitarian activities.

The machinery included a bulldozer and three trucks.

The hand-over ceremony was held at the Royal Palace between the Chinese ambassador to Cambodia Pan Guangxue and Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni (pictured).

According to Pan Guangxue, China has steadily donated machinery to the Royal Palace's working group since 2003 for its humanitarian activities in helping Cambodian poor people through digging ponds, building roads, constructing houses and so on.

"China is willing to help Cambodia as much as possible to alleviate poverty in this country," he said.

Meanwhile, King Norodom Sihamoni expressed thanks to China for its assistance to Cambodia in all sectors and all circumstances. He believes that the donation will play an important role for King 's working group to help poor.

"Our two countries' relation has been well for age; moreover, China has very close relation with Cambodian royal families for a long time," said the king.

"I wished the cooperation between the two countries to last for good."
