The opposition Sam Rainsy Party (SRP) said it has not completed a report of its visit to border post in Kampong Cham province it planned to send to the government.

On 14th December, a group of MPs from the SRP visited border post Nos. 108, 109 and 103 in Kampong Cham province which they claimed have been planted inside Cambodian territory. When they attempted to visit border post No. 103, about 10 Vietnamese policemen entered 100 metres deep inside Cambodian territory to try to stop the MPs from reaching the border post.

Mr. Son Chhay, one of the MPs who visited the posts, said the SRP planned to send the report to the government, the parliamnet and the king by Friday 24th December.

When asked why the report has not been finalised by Friday, Mr. Yim Sovan, spokesman for the SRP, said his party's MPs are working hard to finish the report as soon as possible.

Mr. Var Kimhong, chairman of Cambodian Border Commission, said doesn't care and will not accept the SRP's border report because it has done its works properly already.
