A shocking video of a powerless circulation officer in Cambodia

Here is a video of a rich and powerful person in Cambodia running over a police motorbike with his 4-wheel drive. The police are desperate and too scared to arrest him or impound his car.

Radio Free Asia reported that on 28th October, a high-ranking official working with the National Assembly's Relations and Inspectorate Committee were driving his 4-wheel drive Landcruiser on the wrong side of the road and had an accident with a student riding on motorcycle. Police had attempted to stop the Landcruiser from leaving the scene of the accident by placing a police motorbike in front of the Landcruiser. Instead of stopping, the offending driver run over the police motorbike. The offending official was later identified as 63 year-old Sok Thorn, working as a high-raking official at the Cambodian parliament. He was later arrested and detained for two days, two nights but was released after his family had put a surety.
