LIVE performances, film screenings and a mini showcase of Cambodian cinema from the 1960s to 1970s are promised on Saturday and Sunday at Chinese House on Sisowath Quay.

Presented by a group of young Cambodian film makers calling themselves Kon Khmer, Koun Khmer (known as 4K), the two-night festival is billed as the Fourth Generation of Cambodian Cinema. The aim is to raise money to support 4K’s next film, Unusual Boyfriend. Saturday night kicks off with a screening at 7:45pm and is followed by expat band Mekong Pirates.

Classic 1967 movie Twelve Sisters will be shown on Sunday afternoon, followed by Twin Diamonds by 4K and later performances by singer Sai and Band and band Cambodian Space Project.
