Thai and Cambodian Border Patrol Conference held in Jomtien

On Wednesday morning, the annual meeting of the Army Patrol Committee covering the border between Thailand and Cambodia got underway at the Welcome Jomtien Beach Hotel. At the two-day conference, high-level representatives of both the Thai Army and the Cambodian army will discuss several national security issues and review the progress of various development plans, including projects involving the environment, social welfare and science and technology. The conference is being presented in both Thai and Khmer, Cambodia’s national language, and is an important aspect of maintaining good relations between the two countries, especially regarding border areas.
